From floor area to whole boxes
Tile dimensions are converted from centimeters to meters. Floor area is divided by tile area, allowance is added, and the result is rounded up. Whole boxes use your entered tile count per box.
Example and limitations
20 m² with 60 × 60 cm tiles and 10% allowance needs at least 62 tiles; at 4 per box, buy 16 boxes. Diagonal cuts, patterns and joints affect quantities; this is an area estimate, not a layout plan.
